Smoke deerskin leather with an off-white color, making it resemble old-fashioned, smoked deerskin. Excellent for making moccasins, clothing, traditional Native American items and more. Tanned right here in the US. It is possible for some pieces to have marks or holes, but will largely be very clean.

Hey Jill, those are some very big dimensions for deer, and they don't seem like they'll work. Elk will be your best bet.
Hey Tom, if you are intent on using deerskin, I think two should do it, but leave a note at checkout with the exact dimensions you need out of each piece.
Hey Chloe! Our deer leather, with two exceptions, are chrome tanned. When available however, we do have smoked deerskin as well as brain tanned deerskin. These items are not on the website though, and sell out fairly quickly when we do get them.

I am super glad that you sent me three good pieces that had the bullet hole in the armpit or neck and not right in the middle of the back only one hide had that issue so I guess I’ll be using that for the trim pieces on the article I am making

Disappointed. I would not have picked some of these skins because of where holes are located. I would only buy them again if I could pick them out myself.
