Is this Pig Suede Leather chrome tanned or vegetable tanned? Nade Kang asked on May 2, 2024

Hey Nade, our pig suede is a chrome tanned leather. Most leather is chrome tanned, but we do have a section on our website dedicated to veg tan.

What type of bonding agent should I use to bond pig skin to an existing elbow patch? Can I hand sew it? Therese Suzuki asked on November 23, 2022

Any contact cement will work: Barge, Master, Renia, etc. We offer all of those brands, and they will all do the trick. Sewing is also a possibility!

Can pig skin be used for elbow patches on a wool blazer? Therese Suzuki asked on November 23, 2022

Hey Therese! I don't see why not, however I think you'd generally want something a little thicker, but I could be mistaken on that. I think something like our garment suede split would be better.

Can the pig suede be used for car seats. Steven Wright asked on November 12, 2022

While technically yes, it's not a typical choice for seats. Pig suede is remarkably durable while also thin, so it may work well for such an application.
