Hey Denn! The eclipse you're looking at here originates in Australia, and then the ivory colored one originates in Thailand.
Hey there! Yes, you could use the brushed sheep skin to make mittens, although the wool is thick, so it may require trimming to your liking. The bark tan wool skin that you see as an alternate option would not be good for mittens though, as they are rough on the skin and are intended for uses in saddlery.
