Wickett & Craig, established in 1867, is a renowned vegetable tannery with a global reputation. The veg-tanning process is labor-intensive and demands skilled workers. However, this eco-friendly method produces exquisite and durable leathers with rich patina and a depth of color. In short, their leathers not only last long but also get better with age. Despite its Canadian origin, Wickett & Craig now operates out of Curwensville, Pennsylvania, making it one of the few specialty vegetable tanneries in the United States.
