Why do the hide measurements have three dimensions? For example, the website says the hide is 42” x 7” x 7”. What is the second 7 referring to? Obviously not thickness.

This may seem like an odd question, but how “oily” is this Sillero Amber Oil Tan Leather? In my limited experience I have loved and hated oil tans. One I loved the feel smell and all. the other was so saturated I couldn’t leave it laying out without leaving greasy looking stains on everything.
Hey Jonathan! I know, over-saturated oil tans can be off putting. The sillero amber is not one of those leathers though, it has a really pleasing oily touch to it.
