A shrunken bison leather side with red undertones. Measures 7-8 ounces (7/64″ – 1/8″) in thickness. Excellent for making a nice pair of boots, bags, belts & a variety of other projects. Also available in cut pieces of 3 square feet and 6 square feet.

Hey Jonathan! Yes, you want a veg tan leather, and Utta is not that. Under the category 'Leather' in our menu, there is an option for 'Veg Tan Leather.' I recommend just getting a piece of our MTL veg tan leather to start.
Nine square yards would be 81 sq ft. These hides average 18 sq ft so you would need a total of 5 hides with a bit leftover.
