Hey J, the rawhide lace is about 1/16" to 3/32" thick on average.
Hey John, yes it will shrink as it dries because it expands slightly after absorbing water.
Hey Sonny! We do not offer 1" spools or anything more than selection already on the website here. If you want custom sized lace, the only way I can offer it to you is by offering a side of cow rawhide, which you can then cut to your liking.
