What is the hide oz looking for 4-5 oz hide
Hey Bobby! These are thick, wooly sheepskins, so the ounce weight is somewhat inconsequential because of that. However, the hide itself measures 3-4 oz.

How can I clean this when needed, please?
Hey Charles, while these sheepskins are advertised as machine washable, we recommend using dry methods of cleaning instead to prevent the hair from sticking together. Brushes, dusting, beating, that sort of thing. If as a last resort you need to wash it, put it in the washer and let it air dry.
