Description
What is Grade B Tooling Leather?
Hermann Oak #2 tooling leather, or Grade B as we call it, is the second best quality of Hermann Oak veg tan leather. Affordability and quality make a unique compromise on this grade of leather. For more information on the Hermann Oak tanning and grading process, take a look at our blog!
When do people use Grade B?
When people want excellent quality leather at a price that won’t break the bank, they will get this leather. If midgrade isn’t good enough quality, and Grade A is too expensive, then Grade B is just the thing.
What thicknesses and sizes are available?
We offer a full range of thicknesses in tooling leather from 2 oz (1/32 in) to 12 oz (3/16 in). Average hide size clocks in at around 25 square feet.
