Q & A

Is this a clean paper white or off white? The photos seem to show two different shades of white. Dave Parker asked on October 17, 2024

Hey Dave, this is a clean paper white leather.

Would this leather work for a couch seat cover (protection/dogs)? Or is it too fragile? How large is a whole hide? Kim Scanlon asked on March 26, 2023

Hey Kim! It is hard to say whether or not a leather will hold up to dogs. As far as scratch resistance goes, Doral is up there, but it all depends on your dogs and how hard they are on the leather. Doral is only available in sides (half hides) at around 23 square feet. We also have upholstery leathers available that you can look at on the website, as well as more affordable odd lots that you can call us about.

Does it stay white over time? Or does the vegtan come through? DV asked on March 24, 2023

Hey Danielle! The leather will stay as white as long as it stays clean. It is a chrome tanned leather, and will naturally repel liquids, but can get dirty with time and/or lack of care.
